The Best of Luck!

The entrance exams for public universities in Japan will start tomorrow. It won’t be the first time I’ll have previous students take the exams, but it will be the first time third-year students who have practiced writing in my lessons will take them; so I am nervous.

I’m not nervous because I don’t think they can pass (because I believe they can). I’m just nervous because it seems like the proper emotion I should be feeling. 😂 😂

If I’m going to be honest, I’m also a bit excited. It’s a weird thing to say, but as I told my students, the test will be a way for them to see how much they’ve learned so far and the result will help them see what they need to work on and what they can further polish, which will help them grow even more, which is great because growing and learning are two of the best things in life, I think.

Of course, it is important that they get a good score and they pass, so I wish them and everyone else who is going to take the exams the very, very best-est of luck. 😀 😀
