On my first day in Canada, I already wanted to move there. 🧳😆

Because my friend suddenly had work to do and she didn’t want me to get too tired on my first day there, her husband took me to the farmer’s market.

There I discovered that you can buy half a kilogram of blueberries and blackberries for about 600 yen. 😮

I LOVE berries and farmer’s markets so already I was imagining living in Calgary and going to the farmer’s market every week to buy berries for breakfast. 😆

There were also fruits and vegetables I’d never seen before, and even interesting sushi rolls. 😆

The next day, my friend’s husband drove an hour and a half to take me to Drumheller to visit a dinosaur museum and to see the badlands.

A lot of dinosaur bones have been found in Drumheller, including the T-rex “Black Beauty”.

On the same day, I met up with my uncle’s wife’s sister’s family who lives in Calgary. It was my first time seeing them again since they moved to Canada around 15 years ago and I don’t know them very well, but they were very nice and easy to talk to.

They took me out to dinner and to the famous attractions in downtown Calgary, and even bought me a bag at Lululemon as souvenir. ♥︎♡

The next day, my friend and her husband were busy for our trip to Vancouver, so he took me downtown and I spent the day going around.

Of course, the first place I visited was the public library.

There were so many books in English!! They also had books in other languages, and computers with internet that anyone could use for free. There were so many spaces where anyone could study or read and even a private space for teenagers.

It was one of most beautiful places I visited in Canada. 😍😆

I spent 5 of my 12 days in Canada in Calgary. Even though I mostly spent it going around and not doing anything for tourists, I fell in love with the city and enjoyed my time there.
