Google Translate

One of the things I’ve heard during my time as an English conversation teacher is how, in the future, we won’t need to learn other languages because technology will be able to do it for us. I don’t know how true that is because it’s in the future, but now is the present and the most popular translator is Google Translate. But many people know that Google Translate can be very funny because it can be very inaccurate.

Yesterday, I saw a video on the internet where the actress in Mamma Mia sang a translated version of Abba’s “Dancing Queen.” The translation was so funny and very far from the original.

Since I don’t have anything else to write, I thought I would translate the song in Japanese and share it here. I don’t know if the translation is good, so there’s no point in my sharing it except that maybe someone might find it funny, and I can at least say that I made someone smile today (and I was able to post on this blog too).
