Canada ♡

Everyone said “hi” and “hello.”

At the end of the conversation, they said, “Have a good day,” or “Enjoy your evening.”

The woman on the elevator with us talked about the weather. The man at the register asked me about myself while he was bagging my things for me. The children in the farm waved and said hi when I walked by.

A man we didn’t know gave us his extra tickets to a sale only for members because he heard us talking about it. A clerk at a souvenir store checked the sizes of all the shirts in the store, and asked her male coworker and even male customers about their size when I said I wanted to buy a shirt for my dad, but didn’t know his size.

“They’re all very nice there, aren’t they?” my younger sister who was an exchange student in UBC said, and I completely agree.

I really liked how everyone was friendly and helpful and would spend time to talk or smile at me. It made me feel like I was part of a community even though I was just a visitor, and it was really nice.

Actually, I think it’s a great country to visit if you want to improve your English because there will always be someone who will start a conversation with you. 😆

If not, I would still recommend anyone to visit Canada because there are a lot of beautiful places to see, fun things to do, and delicious food to eat. I’ll write a little about them in my next blog posts. 😁
