Day 7: Singing Morning Glory
The story I read of Day 4 was my favorite because the translations made me laugh, but today’s story has become my new favorite because I understood it.
I was happy when I read the first paragraph and realized I understood it perfectly. If I’m going to translate it in English, it would be: “Under a big tree in a forest was a morning glory that liked to sing.”
There were other sentences I understood and there were also sentences that I didn’t, but I knew enough words to connect the ideas and, for the first time, understand the entire story.
The moment when I understand something makes me feel really happy and proud, and it is one of the reasons I like learning.I hope I can understand tomorrow’s story too and feel happy again.
