Day 10: Lightning God
Today’s story about a lightning god was like yesterday’s: difficult to understand because of so many words that I don’t know but also a little easy because there were many words written in katakana like パンツ and プール.
In today’s story, there were also two kanji characters that I recognize very well because I learned them after learning the numbers: 先生.
It’s a great feeling to read a word you didn’t know before, but you know now. It’s one of the reasons I like reading books. When I run across a new word in one book, there’s a chance I will find it again in another book. It helps me learn and remember new words, and I think it’s a good way to improve vocabulary.
