JLPT N5

The July JLPT is over!

And my prediction is…I might not pass. 😆

The reason began with me thinking I had to take the 10:50 train when I was supposed to take the 10:30. Luckily, I planned to arrive at the test site an hour early, so taking the 10:50 wouldn’t make me late (thus disqualified from taking the test).

But I was so rushed and a bit panicking, so I accidentally dropped my train pass somewhere. 😭 I then had to talk to a staff member at Saiin station to explain the situation, so I missed the Randen train I planned to take. 😫😫

I decided to take a bus instead, and that went well, fortunately, and I was able to arrive about 20 minutes early. ✨

BUT THEN I realized that I had forgotten my watch at home. 😑😑

Since I didn’t have my watch and there was no clock in the room, I overestimated how much time I had for the first part of the test, and I didn’t shade my answers properly, thinking I would have time to do it later.

But 30 minutes went by quickly. In the end, there were 4 items that I couldn’t shade even though I was sure of my answers. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Those 4 and 2 others I didn’t shade (because I wasn’t sure) in part one, and 5 answers I wasn’t sure of in parts two and three make a total of 11 mistakes out of around 62. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Before I took the test, my goal was to get a high score.

Now I’m wondering if I can even pass… 😆

Whatever the result, I’m still planning on taking the N4 test later this year. 😆
