Earthquake
I am taking another break from the genius series to write about something that is the reason why today’s classes have been cancelled and that almost everyone might know about: the earthquake this morning. It was quite strong and long. It was also scary so I’m grateful for those who sent me messages, asking me if I was okay.
Inari-san was one of those who asked me if I’m okay and he said it was the first time for me to feel a big earthquake, but earthquakes actually hit the Philippines too. Just yesterday at 6:46 PM, a magnitude 5.5 earthquake hit the country. It didn’t create as much damage as the earthquake in Japan today did, but we do get earthquakes in the Philippines and they can be big too.
Today’s earthquake is the biggest one I’ve experienced in Japan, but I have been in earthquakes as strong and long at least five times already. Luckily, I’ve never been hurt during earthquakes and I hope it stays that way. I also hope everyone is safe and unhurt. Take care!
