On Sunday I moved to a new apartment and yesterday I got internet connection. I’d like to say that I didn’t write the past days because I didn’t have internet, but the truth is I wouldn’t have had the time anyway because I’ve been even more busy.
Aside from doing the usual things I have been doing for work, I also had to clean up a lot because the new apartment hasn’t been used for a long time. Everything was dusty and a little dirty so I had to do a lot of scrubbing and wiping and washing.
I am still not done, unfortunately, but I think I’ll be able to finish cleaning tomorrow. Maybe.
However, I am not complaining. I grew up with cleaning and hard work, and there a lot to like about my new apartment. I’m writing simply to explain my silence the past days, to inform anyone that I am back because I now have internet connection, and to apologize to my students who may have noticed that I’m not as energetic and involved this week.
When I finally finish cleaning and unpacking, everything will go back to normal. Hopefully.
