Day 6: Cancer the Crab
Today’s story is about a person born under the Cancer zodiac. Cancer is the the zodiac sign of people born from June 22 to July 22. It’s symbol is the crab.
The title of the story gave me an idea of the content, but it didn’t help me understand the story because, again, there were far too many words in the story that I don’t know.
It was like yesterday’s story, which I also didn’t understand. There was, however, a phrase in yesterday’s story that I understood perfectly: いいてんきですね.
I was so happy to read the phrase because I knew what it meant. After I read it I remembered my student on Saturday who used a phrase, she learned from her homework, in class. I was glad that she’s applying what she’s learning, and I hope she can keep picking up things and applying them.
