SNOW SNOW SNOW
During my lesson this afternoon, the snow fell as tiny balls, and my student told me that in Japanese it is called あられ. In English, it is called graupel or snow pellets.
Aside from graupel, there are two other types of snow:
- snowflake – a flake of snow
- hoarfrost – white crystals that looks like needles
I like snow because I think places, especially buildings, look prettier when they’re covered with snow so I’m looking forward to more snow.
