Japanese Lesson: Counting

I learned some counter words today like つ and 台. As usual, I had some questions as to why there were some differences in how numbers are used with different counter words, but I have gotten used to the fact that there are so many things that I just have to just remember because that’s how it is done.

Studying Japanese is becoming more difficult because there are more and more words to remember, more and more kanji characters to learn, and more and more grammar rules to understand. I don’t think I’m having fun in my lessons, meaning I don’t feel the same way I feel when I’m reading a book when I’m studying Japanese. But I decided to take lessons because I want to eventually communicate in Japanese so I will keep studying, even when it’s difficult or not fun, until I get to my goal.
